Giants Look to Win Super Bowl

As teams across the league continue to prepare for the upcoming NFL season, many experts are trying to determine who has the best chance to make the Super Bowl and win the championship. While a lot of people are high on the New England Patriots to repeat, some are beginning to believe that the New York Giants could be among the top teams in the league and possibly reach the Super Bowl (

During the prior NFL season, the Giants looked like one of the most inconsistent teams in the league. At times they looked like they could beat just about anyone. However, at other times they seemed to struggle against weaker opponents. The team ended up finishing second in their division, but qualified for a spot in the playoffs after winning 11 games. However, they ended up losing badly in the first round to the Green Bay Packers.

Heading into this season, a lot of the focus will be on Eli Manning. Manning has had one of the most interesting careers in NFL history. While few would consider him an all time elite player, he has won two Super Bowl titles and is among the all-time leaders in many passing statistics. While Manning has won two Super Bowls, he has not won a playoff game in over 5 years. This year, many believe that he has the offensive weapons necessary to take the team opt the next level.

The top weapon on the Giants, and possibly in the entire league, is Odell Beckham Junior. Beckham Junior has been one of the most dominant receivers in the league over his short career. He has shown the ability to grab catches out of nowhere and make huge plays. While he has always faced double coverage in the past, the addition of free agent wide receiver Brandon Marshall should help to take off some of the pressure. Marshall is one of the most productive players in NFL history and has put up big numbers with four different teams. He now appears focused on helping the Giants to win his first NFL title.

This year, the Giants will need to first find a way to do better in their division. They will once again be up against the Dallas Cowboys, who surprised a lot of people last year when they won the division relying on the success of rookies in Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot.
